In January 2026, Swiss Life placed a CHF 225 million dated hybrid bond with final maturity in 2042, first callable in January 2032 (coupon until first call date: 1.875%). The bonds were placed with investors in the Swiss franc market. The net proceeds of the bonds will be used for general corporate purposes, including potential future debt refinancing.
On 10 February 2026, Generali Group and Swiss Life Global Solutions entered into a long-term commercial partnership and a binding commitment for the acquisition of Swiss Life Network by Generali Employee Benefits. The Swiss Life Network is part of Swiss Life Global Solutions and provides international companies and their local and mobile employees with security, assurance and in-depth insights into local legal, tax and political developments that could affect people’s and businesses’ priorities. Swiss Life Global Solutions is part of Swiss Life International, which is a business division of Swiss Life Group. The transaction will have no material impact on the Consolidated Financial Statements.
