GRI Index
Swiss Life has reported in accordance with the GRI standards for the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025. For the Content Index Essentials service, GRI Services verified that the GRI content index has been presented in a way consistent with the requirements for reporting in accordance with the GRI Standards, and that the information in the index is clearly presented and accessible to the stakeholders. This service was performed on the German version of the report.
The selection of material topics is based on the materiality analysis, which was revised in accordance with regulatory requirements during the year under review (see “Materiality analysis” section). The aggregated material topics reported comprise: climate change adaptation, climate change mitigation, energy, working conditions (own workforce), equal treatment and opportunities for all (own workforce), compliance, and cybersecurity and data protection. Compared to the previous year, the standards GRI 201: Economic Performance, GRI 403: Occupational Health and Safety and GRI 417: Marketing and Labelling were no longer classified as material for Swiss Life and are therefore no longer reported under the GRI Index. Instead, the standards GRI 401: Employment and GRI 407: Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining were added. In addition, the standards GRI 102: Climate Change and GRI 103: Energy, which were newly published in 2025, have been applied in place of GRI 305: Emissions and GRI 302: Energy.
