SASB Index
The SASB Standards are industry-specific disclosure standards on financially relevant sustainability topics and are issued by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) under the IFRS Foundation. Swiss Life uses the SASB Standards as a guiding framework for this Sustainability Report and presents them in the form of an index to enable investors to easily locate relevant ESG information. The SASB Index covers the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 and refers to selected content from Swiss Life’s Annual Report and Sustainability Report in relation to the SASB Standards for the insurance industry (2025), without claiming to fully implement all disclosure requirements.

As a result, a non‑smoker pays a lower risk premium for term life insurance than a smoker. Although this differentiation is primarily actuarially justified, it also creates an incentive for a lifestyle associated with greater life expectancy. | ||||||||||||
